Brett
Senior Stylist
Brett grew up in Hervey Bay, where he attended the Urangan Point State school and the Hervey Bay State High School. After a short time living on the Sunshine Coast, he moved to Brisbane in the early 1990’s to pursue his hairdressing career. Now, he’s excited to be home again in Hervey Bay, sharing his passion for hairdressing and quality customer service.
Brett’s career highlights include being a salon owner in Brisbane for the last 22 years and making many friends during a lifetime working in what he calls the most rewarding industry in the world.
With nearly four decades of hairdressing expertise and experience, Brett has worked in some of Brisbane’s leading salons, where he has styled many high-profile clients. These include international super model Kristy Hinze, actors Richard Hugget (Neighbours) and Kay McFeeter (The Box, Homicide), comedian Paula Gardener (Fast Forward, The Comedy Company, Neighbours), international opera singer Dr Magreta Elkins AM, Lady Campbell the wife of the governor of Queensland Sir Walter Campbell, Jan Power former editor at The Courier Mail, radio and television personality and founder of the Jan Power Farmers Markets, radio personality Sammy Power and highly acclaimed Australian author Marie Munkara.
Brett’s loyal following includes clients from interstate and overseas including Kenya, Canada and the UK. Brett’s reputation as a master colourist has clients booking six months in advance to secure an appointment.
Lee
Senior Stylist
With over 35 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry, Lee has been in high demand by hairdressing companies from all over the world. Lee was born in the UK and trained with one of England’s leading salons, before owning his own salon at twenty-three. He has been a finalist in the English Hairdresser of the Year.
After moving to Australia, Lee was head hunted by several large hairdressing companies to work as their technical director of education. His technical colour knowledge is vast and this has enabled him to travel the world sharing his skills and talents with other hairdressers from the UK, Europe, India, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. His talents have seen him create hairstyles for Sydney Fashion Week and the Australian Film Institute. Lee has appeared on stage at the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Federation Square, as well as numerous hair shows across the world. Lee was Technical Director Asia Pacific for Alfaparf Milano, Head of Education for ghd Australasia and, also a guest artist for Alfaparf Milano.
His career highlights include appearing on MTV India, working as a hair stylist for the Australian Film Awards where he styled TV personalities Rebel Wilson, Sigrid Thornton and Vince Colosimo as well as numerous others. Lee’s work has walked on many fashion runways including for Australian fashion designer Alex Perry. Lee’s extensive clientele travel from all corners of the world to be styled by him. He loves to provide his clients with what he describes as beautiful hair.

Madame Me Me’s for Hair is the vision of experienced hairstylists Brett Wise and Lee Hayward.
With a desire to live and work in Hervey Bay, they saw an opportunity to bring an urban, but highly personalised, hair experience to the people of Hervey Bay.
Brett and Lee aim to create a luxurious salon experience for all their clients. They want you to feel comfortable and confident to discuss your hairstyling needs so that you are happy with your experience at Madame Me Me’s for Hair.
